The Colony

There are a couple of developments outside of the main condo area of the Canyons Village including Aspen Creek Crossing, Dutch Draw Estates, and Timberwolf Estates. These grandiose luxury homes are tucked in the aspen trees just outside of the Canyons Village Plaza. There are also spacious townhomes for sale are Frostwood Villas, Pendry, The Ridge, Fairway Springs, and Juniper Landing. These areas are nice because the amenities at the Canyons Village are much closer.  

Snyderville Basin

Great Single Family home options only five a minute’s drive to Canyons Village include Old Ranch Road, Silver Springs, Sun Peak, Bear Hollow, Trailside, and Kimball Junction. 

Old Ranch Road has many large single-family homes. There are bike trails, parks, equestrian options, and even a great dog park with a pond. Silver Springs is adjacent to Old Ranch Road and has its own private ponds and parks with many homes having views of Canyons Ski Area. Sun Peak and Bear Hollow are just north of the Canyons Village and offer more Spacious Homes with a better price point. In many of these neighborhoods, nightly rentals are not allowed, so there are more full-time residents. There are some exceptions, but it is ultimately up to the HOAs of the individual communities.  

Getting to The Canyons Village

A major international airport thirty-five minutes away makes flying in and out, even for a quick weekend trip, a breeze. SLC International Airport is a Delta hub and has many direct flights from all over the country. You jump on I-80, a major freeway until you hit Kimball Junction, then turn off and head up a four-lane road. Probably the easiest major ski area to get to in the country. Still, check the weather ahead of time to make sure you don’t need to upgrade to a four-wheel drive. Coming from the airport, Canyons is the first resort you will hit. Park City resort area is ten minutes past Canyons, and Deer Valley is another five to ten minutes further.

Many people come here for the winter, but and an increasing number of people are finding out about Park City summers.
