Park City Condos

Park City Condos for Sale

Park City is a great place to buy a condo or townhome.  A couple of nice benefits to owning a condo here vs a single-family home are convenience, location, and amenities. The year-round outdoor lifestyle makes it an amazing place to be, through all the mountain seasons.  There are many different communities depending on where you are looking to be and what type of recreational access you are looking for.  One thing to consider is how you are going to use your condo.  If you are planning on using it a couple of weeks a year and renting it out the rest of the time, make sure the HOA accepts nightly rentals.  Call, text, or email me if you have any questions and I would be happy to go over the best communities for your needs.  Here are the most popular areas.

Ski Condos for Sale

The convenience of having a ski condo is unparalleled.  There is nothing like ski-in ski-out.  Even being a short walk is very convenient.  Not having to load everyone and all the gear into the car, drive to the resort, wait for parking, and hoof your skis up to the lift.  Location is everything.  Imagine just opening your door and walking to the lift.  On powder days or even getting fresh groomers on a crispy morning, every minute between you and the mountain is crucial.  Condos are less expensive, and you can get into one for far less than a single-family home close to skiing.  However, like many things in Park City, the sky is the limit and there are many hyper-luxury condos for sale as well.  The ease and amenities of having a ski condo are amazing.  After a day on the slopes, it is nice to have a beer or hot chocolate at the après’ spot of your choice.  Then head back to the resort for a hot tub or massage.  It is a hard life, but someone has to do it.

Park City Old Town and Main Street Condos for Sale

The epicenter of the restaurants and nightlife.  Main Street hosts a variety of delights from fine dining to coffee shops.  High-end retail and ski shops give you a sense of luxury life at play.  There are mostly condos in this part of town.  Housing is fairly dense, however, there are a lot of walking paths and parks sprinkled throughout.  People who choose Old Town do so because they like to be close to the action and like the ski town vibe.  You can go whiskey tasting at High West or go to No Name Saloon for a buffalo burger.  Even if you get a condo at a different ski community in the area, you will be going to Main Street at some point during your visit.

Canyons Village Condos for Sale

Canyons Village is the fastest-growing ski real estate in the area.  Values have tripled in the last ten years.  There are a variety of condos to fit most budgets.  New developments like Apex and Pendry are raising the average price of condos there, however, you can get into some studios for less than $400k.  Bang for the buck, it is the best investment for ski condominiums in the area.

Deer Valley Condos for Sale

Deer Valley Condos are luxury.  Famous resort brands like Montage, Stein Erickson, and St. Regis are delivering luxury in a class one would expect.  There are more reasonable options a short walk from the Deer Valley ski area.  You will still be paying about thirty percent more for the price per square foot vs Canyons Village Ski Condos and the Park City Main Street area will be somewhere in the middle between the two.  If luxury and skiing only are what you are after this place is that dream.  The world-class groomed runs and polished feel offer a warm mountain experience that can only be topped off with free roasted marshmallows and smores at the St. Regis on their Astor Terrace.  Another place for Deer Valley condos is on the Jordanelle Reservoir side of the Resort close to the new ski area they are building called the Mayflower.

Jordanelle Reservoir and Mayflower Condos for Sale

The Jordanelle Reservoir area has many new developments that offer more reasonable condo options that are a great investment opportunity.  The new ski area called “The Mayflower” is scheduled to open for the 2024-2025 season.  This should skyrocket values and make this an up-and-coming resort community.  A short drive into Park City, beautiful water views, and access to the other side of Deer Valley are making these developments increasingly popular.

Prospector Condos For Sale

The Prospector Area of Park City is a very short drive to everywhere.  A great option for someone looking to get into Park City, be within walking distance to Main Street, a short drive from the ski areas, and they are not wanting to spend a fortune.  They are a great value, close to the skiing condo, with some amenities.

Kimball Junction, Newpark, and Pinebrook Condos for Sale

If you are just trying to get into Park City to live full-time or want more value for your money this area is a gem.  Kimball junction and Newpark are where more of the non-tourism stores are and where the locals shop like Whole Foods and Smiths grocery store.  There are restaurants, gas stations, a movie theater, and Outlet Shops.  Woodward is a sports training facility located in Pinebrook a place that every kid dreams about with trampolines, foam pits, skate parks, and kickers into foam pits with skis and snowboards.  They also have mountain bike parks in the summertime.
